Non-residents may be appointed as directors of the company. But the company secretary as an individual, to be ordinarily resident in Hong Kong; case of a body corporate, shall have a registered office or place of business in Hong Kong. Each Pte Ltd must have at least one director and a secretary. If a company has only one director, the director shall act as the secretary of the company.
